Prescription Policy

You may be or may have been prescribed a scheduled medication (an opioid or benzodiazepine prescription) for management of post operative pain or pre operative anxiety.  Prescriptions for these medications or any other prescriptions will be provided at your office visit(s) and during regular office hours. No refills of any scheduled medication will be provided during the evenings or on weekends. If your prescription runs out early for any reason (for example, if you use more than prescribed), your doctor may elect to NOT prescribe extra medication for you. You are responsible for keeping your prescriptions and medication safe and in a secure place and protect from loss or theft. If prescriptions or medications are lost, stolen or misplaced, your doctor will not provide additional medication.
